Mandatory:
- Have access to an accessible and functional power outlet (minimum 16A). If not available, the inspection will be stopped. No certificate can be issued, and the visit will be fully charged. This applies only to underground tanks.
- Have access to the boiler.
- For non-accessible tanks, ensure that the actual fuel level is below 90% of the tank’s capacity in order to perform the test. If the level is too high, the inspection will be stopped. No certificate can be issued, and the visit will be fully charged.
- For tanks of 3,000L and above (above-ground), and underground tanks (no minimum capacity), the Class 3 Declaration must be completed and submitted to the competent municipal authority where the property is located. You must also have a copy available on the day of the visit.

If applicable:
- Certificate of conformity for the tank’s double-walled structure.
- For an above-ground tank: exemption granted by the competent authorities regarding the requirement for secondary containment.
- For an underground tank > 10,000L:
- Cathodic protection certificate issued by a qualified cathodic protection expert.
In the absence of these mandatory elements, the inspection will be stopped. No certificate can be issued, but a fixed fee of €150 will be charged for the visit.
Where possible:
- The tank invoice or building specifications.
- The certificate confirming installation and connection of the tank in accordance with applicable requirements, issued by a qualified expert.
- The periodic tightness certificate for the entire installation, issued by an approved technician.
- The technical data sheet of the material used to waterproof the containment area (if applicable only).
